One more shop and then I'm moving on for awhile.....

I'm planning on doing one more shop before the end of the year and then I am going to take a long break from the "extreme" side of things in the couponing world.  I may do a quick shop here and there but I won't be posting my results here.

I often take long breaks from couponing once my stockpile is built up so that I can focus on having more fun with my family.  I hope you've enjoyed reading the posts here over the last three months.

I am planning on doing my last "official" Rite-Aid shop tonight and I will post my results either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Please leave a comment if you have benefited from these posts (you can read about how to do that HERE if you are unsure).  If you don't have a google account you can leave a comment by choosing "Name/URL" from the drop down box or you can choose "anonymous" (just make sure you sign your name if you leave a comment as anonymous).  I really appreciate hearing from my readers.  It takes a very long time to post these shops and it encourages me to know that people are actually reading the posts and using the information.  Thank you to those of you who have been faithful to post comments; they are very much appreciated.

  2. BTW, The Clearasil night time serum... the one that has $5 in ad coupon is marked down from $10.49 to $5.24 and I used the in ad coupon + the $2 printable and received a +2 ups... great moneymaker. I thought I would share if it is ok with you. ( I actually bought several and they all scanned fine with the in ad coupon).

  5. Thank you so much for the amazing posts! You helped me see in real life how actual great shops work out. It showed and encouraged me to try deals/coupons I didn't know would work together. Our family was able to give good quality gifts this year without needing to spend tons of money because they were all from Rite Aid! Thank you again for blessing our family... and the blessings overflowed to others as well. With love and much appreciation, Mary

  6. Stalked the blog when you were writing about all the fabulous Publix deals and was so glad when you picked up Rite Aid as a store of choice. It pushed me to get myself in gear and start working rite aid weekly. Going to miss your blog posts but as a homeschooling mom of 2 I totally understand how important Family is. Thanks for the all the work!!

  9. Hey Ashley, long time no see. I didn't even know that you were still reading the blog. I remember the chats we used to have about the marketing side of things (i.e. slotting fees).

    ------

Mary, thank you for the kind post. Do we know each other personally? If so, what is your last name? Sorry for asking....but I know several Mary's.

    --------

Navy_Frugalista, I remember you. I'm so glad that you're still stalking. Congratulations on your pregnancy (I'm stalking you too)!

  10. Hey, I read your posts religiously! I actually have been putting some shops together myself (though never as grand as yours!). I really appreciate your time and effort in this. You are an encouragement. I think of you often when I find coupon books at Publix with those wonderful qs! If you email your mailing address I can drop you a few in the snail mail. tyrell.wagner@comcast.net

Gotta say I'm disappointed because I followed you weekly, but I completely understand. : ) Great job Kelly! Thanks for taking the time to walk us through everything and to take the great photo every week of your deals. Very helpful! Thank you so much for getting so many of us off the ground and into the coupon world. Hope to see you back soon : ) Have a great trip away GF and I look forward to seeing you next year! Merry Christmas to your dear family : ) Love you!

  14. Josie, thanks for following the blog. I will probably take a short break (2-3 months) and then I'll return. You can start back up with me when I return if you're interested. :) In the meantime, there are several other folks that are highlighting their Rite-Aid shops online. Let ms know if you're interested in knowing how to find these blogs and the details of their shops.

    -------------

Tshanina, hi there! I just checked out your blog and noticed that you made the same mistake I did with the Revlon. I bought four too and then read the ad and realized it was only one UP Reward. I should have known that deal was too good to be true. LOL.

    ----------

Christa, it has been so great having you on the blog. I really appreciated your tip last week about the $5/25. If it wasn't for you I never would have known that the coupon was back in circulation. Thank you so much!

    ---------

Bethany, thank you so much for thinking of me. I miss Publix and wish that I could still shop there; everyone is so nice there! I appreciate the offer of the booklets, however, my good friend Kathy just sent me some (which I used last night on my shop). I'm so glad that you are still reading the blog!

  18. I'm out of my shopping groove at the moment, but your posts have been a big help to me. Even after all this time, I can still only pick out the obvious deals, and you find us some great not-so-obvious deals.

Enjoy your break, and will be looking for you to join back in when you're ready.

  19. 2-3 months off???? Wow.
I don't think you can do it.

Enjoyed having you guys over. Still need to show you how to use your phone better.

BTW - Josie, you aren't really anonymous if you have to sign your name at the bottom of your post ;-)
Mary has been posting her shops on her FB page and looks like she is doing awesome. Kelley (mine) will be hitting all of you up for advice when she starts hitting it hard in March.

  20. Hi Kelly,

Guess I started to follow your blog at the wrong time since it is the beginning of your break. :) But I know that Jevon & Kelley are trying to get the hang of this whole thing and I hope to learn from them. I have loved getting to know you and hope to see you at many more family events since you are part of our Webster fam now!

  21. Hi Jerilyn, sorry for my late response. It took me a while to figure out where you posted your comment after I approved it.

Thank you for the great conversation the other evening. You are a really interesting girl and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. You can always come over for a private lesson; I'm happy to get you started. Just let me know.
