2ND UPDATE: Rite-Aid, 2/20-2/26

It's all about babies this week at Rite-Aid!

If you have a baby or you need baby gifts for some of your friends then this week is for you!  The diapers, ointment, q-tips, baby lotion and baby washes are all on sale.  I picked up a few baby washes for my little one and then bought a few for gifts.  What a wonderful week at Rite-Aid!  I purchased the Purex sheets thinking that they were on sale but, alas, they are NOT on sale in the Northern California region.  I will have to take them back next week!

L'OREAL YOUTH CODE KIT DEAL : If you are going to do the Loreal Youth Code deal then make sure that you don't use your 20% wellness discount.  You can use a 10% discount though and this will make it a nice little moneymaker.  If you don't have a discount then it is still a $3 moneymaker!   UPDATE: Just checked my receipt and my 20% discount rang up so I can't submit for the $10 rebate. I've also heard that others have reported that the item is ringing up at $29.99 so you will have to buy two products if you want the submit them for the $10 rebate here.  I used the product tonight and I really like it (especially the eye cream).  It works pretty well.  I love getting free skin care products from couponing.  So fun!  I may go out tomorrow and try and find two of the kits in stock and do the scenario again so that I can get the $10 mail-in-rebate.  If they don't have them in stock then I will get a rain check and do the scenario next week.   3RD UPDATE: I went back today and purchased two more kits and threw in an eye shadow just in case they had adjusted the UP Rewards (four $5 UP Rewards were printing even though people were only spending $59.98 out of pocket).

ROLLING UP REWARDS: I rolled all of my UP Rewards and didn't pay any tax out of pocket because I still have money left on my Rite-Aid gift cards.  I only have a $5 UP reward left so I will have to start building my UP Rewards again.  UPDATE: Returned the Purex 3-in-1 sheets and used the merchandise return credit to pay for the L'Oreal kits.  Ended up with $25 UP's at the end of my transaction so I'm in business again to do some deals next week.

PULL-UPS: Anna, I picked up some more pull-ups for you!  I used the rest of your Winter Reward from buying the balloons (yes, it finally printed) to buy these so if you don't need them then you can return them for cash and buy something else.

  1. I just called the Loreal rebate center to see if they would still honor the $29.99 purchase. They have had other calls about this and are waiting to hear back from the manufacturer regarding this question. Perhaps they will still honor the rebate if it's only .01 cent off. I will let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

  2. ah Kelly....you are so beyond me. I'm excited for your deals. I wish you were here to motivate me to get in on the action--especially this week, when it would be good to stock up. :) Missing you, Lisa

  3. Hello my dear friend. You need to get together with Kathy. She is totally excited about the deals too. There are some very good deals at Rite-Aid. It is totally different than Publix but equally fun. You can do the baby deal with very little out of pocket. Just call me and I'll give you the rundown. Love you!

  6. Ruth...loved your post this week @ Publix. That Mueller's pasta is my favorite and we don't even have access to that brand here. :)

  7. Just called Loreal Rebate Center again and they said that they will still honor the rebate if it's .01 cent short (ie $29.99) - which makes it an even better moneymaker :)
