3RD UPDATE: Rite-Aid, 2/13-2/19

My landlord had a handyman at the house today fixing some things so I decided that it was a good time to head out and do my shop.  Everything was in stock again (so weird right)?  I was totally expecting to have to get several rainchecks but I found everything I was looking for.  I think the stores in my area are slow to stock their shelves so that may be why I continue to find everything in stock even though it is Wednesday.

I thought that I was going to get my $20 Winter Reward today since my balance was $99.88 the other day on my receipt but it never printed.  For some weird reason it is now showing that I am only at $85.70 (even after 3 more transactions).  I really can't quite understand why their receipts will show that you are close to getting your reward and then a few days later they will show a different amount.  I wonder if it would have printed the other day if I had just added a $1 item to my cart.  Oh well, I'll have to test this theory at a later date.

NOTE: I still had a balance on my gift card from my last return so I used it to pay tax on my transactions.  I also just received $55 in rebates from Rite-Aid and will be converting this money to a gift card to pay for my tax on future transactions. UPDATE: Still had a balance on my gift card so I only paid $.80 cents out of pocket.

NOTE: I was hoping to get back an additional $5 UP Reward on my Vick's Humidifier but I didn't calculate that deal correctly.  The cost of the humidifier was only $21.19 after my 20% discount and my raincheck (which took $10 off).  You have to spend $30 to get the $5 UP Reward this week and I only spent $21.19.  Oh well, it was still a good price and I really needed one.  I've decided to just throw out my old humidifier from year to year because some of them get too moldy and you can't clean them properly.
